He also appeared in vaudeville, U.S.O., night clubs, radio, television, circus, and sideshows. Kramien started as an assistant to Warren Gram touring the Western states. [1] He was once described by Francis Marshall as a cross between P. T. Barnum, Flo Ziegfield and John Wayne.[2] He has been holding an annual convention, the Northwest Magic Jamboree, since 1987.
