This complete front disc brake conversion for 64-66 Mustang and 63-65 Falcon is based on the 75-80 Granada disc brake system and uses the larger "boss" type spindle pin used after 1969. This kit features high strength alloy steel spindles and performance slotted rotors and comes with a manual master cylinder to upgrade your drum brake system to a proper disc brake system for better safety and all around performance. The plain rotors are 11.06" in diameter and feature an integral hub with a 5x4.5 bolt pattern while the cast iron calipers come with a black corrosion protectant coating and feature a single piston design using a D91-style semi-metallic pad.
The included manual master cylinder features a 15/16" bore set up for front disc rear drum with a
3/8"-24 female double flare forward outlet and a 7/16"-24 female double flare rear outlet and comes with an aluminum adjustable proportioning valve with 1/8" female NPT outlets with 3/8"-24 double flare adapters. The brake hoses feature a p
olyethylene coated braided stainless steel construction with silver zinc plated steel fittings and have 3/8"-24 or 7/16"-24 female double flare inlets and straight 7/16"-24 male outlets.
This kit comes with all the necessary installation hardware including dust shields, wheel bearings and seals, spindle nuts,
hose brackets and hardware, outer tie rods correct for your application, Grade 8 hardware, medium and high strength thread locker, and high temperature wheel bearing grease.
Note: Will not fit original 14" wheels
