This is one of my prize possessions. The Ltd Ed Magic’s New Utopia Glass Penetration!
The effect is a solid plate of glass, which can be rotated, and shown to be solid, can also be penetrated with another solid object. (In the picture I use a small wand, but a long hat needle would be preferable). This is a thin hexagon shaped frame, and it lends to the illusions effectiveness. It also has an unusual rotating arm. Perfect for parlor or stage performance.
The center spindle rotates around the glass and the frame itself rotates on the raised platform creating a perfect illusion. Wherever you stop the spindle, the glass is penetrated
by a wand, needle, pen, etc.
Unlike the original design, which was made with Plexiglas, which tended to scratch too easily, this one is made with actual glass. It is also made with custom brass hardware.
I’m only selling this because of medical expenses. Otherwise, I had hoped to never get rid of it, as the odds of finding another again are very slim. Nevertheless, it must go.
