Vintage and harder to find - Framed by Ron Frost
Effect: A plastic stand holding 5 plastic hinged frames, each of a different color is shown. Each frame contains a double sided insert that is shown openly. On one side of each insert is the same letter or number. Let's say they have the letter "X" on that side. On the other side is a different letter or number, let's say the letter "O". The inserts are placed into the frames so that the spectator cannot see what letter is in the open window of each frame. However, the magician points out that 4 of the frames shown the same letter, let's say "X" and one shows the "O". The magician claims that he will merely concentrate on the colored frame that contains the letter "O". The spectator smiply concentrates and names the color he is thinking about. It is revealed and he names the only one showing the letter "O". It is a free choice and can be repeated time and again, a different color every time!!
This routine comes from the estate of a home magician.

PREDIXION

Predixion is so powerful because it is so simple.
Here is what happens:
Two decks of cards are used. One is given to someone to place on the table, this deck is secured by rubber bands with a note attached which the performer states will be used for a process of a random and specific determination, and this deck will be on the table the entire time.
The spectator is instructed to take his deck and deal a pile of cards on the table face down, he may take cards from the top, the middle or the bottom of the deck, stopping at any time. He then separates that pile into two piles. Then, one card is selected from those two piles. This all happens in the fairest way and it happens completely hands off. The selected card is shown to be the
Five of Hearts.
Now the spectator is given the deck that was on the table the entire time. Wrapped around the deck and secured with rubber bands is piece of paper which states;"
Earlier today I had an intuitive sense about one card in this deck. So sure was I of my accuracy that I took a marking pen, and drew a large X across that card...the card I felt sure wold be selected in the fairest manner by a spectator later on."
The spectator takes the deck out of the case, spreads through the cards, and finds that indeed
one card and
only one card
has a large X across it. That is is also the
FIVE OF HEARTS !
