For sale a hardcover book titled; Golf Car Classics dated 2018. Golf Car Classics is richly illustrated with more thatn 500 photographs and ads from the period 1949 through 1969. It includes over 200 different golf car designs, 142 different manufacturers and 85 golf cars that can be found in the Legends Golf Car Museum near Edmonton Alberta. It provides a glimpse into the innovative desiogns that saw not only rapidly developing market niche for businesmen and entrepeneurs but also a means to grow the game and give access to the game of golf to all. This book traces the developement of the golf cart from the first patent of a 5 man machine, through 2, 3 and 43 wheel designs. It explores collapsible, electric, gasoline cars plus golf cards that would go 1 mph to those that reached speeds of 55 mph. Ron Lyons is the author. A great pictorial history of the golf car evolution over the span of two decades. A great Xmas gift for the golf history buff and enthusiast. New condition.
